Dr. Lucero

Dr. Joseph A. Lucero  was born and raised in Brighton, Colorado. He moved to Greeley Colorado in 2006 and earned a Biochemistry degree with a biology minor in 2009 at the University of Northern Colorado. He received his DDS degree from Creighton University of Omaha NE in 2014. He went on to complete a residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Minnesota in 2017.

Dr. Lucero Spent his undergrad years studying hard and working hard. He maintained a full time job working as an oil transfer specialist at a local oil Exxon Mobil distribution company. The job not only required immense strength but also advanced knowledge in fluid dynamics. He learned to take pride in his work and apply earned knowledge that enabled him to learn to work smarter and not harder.

In between his chemistry and dental studies Dr. Lucero expanded his customer service experience beyond what his Grandfather taught him when they operated a small cutting and aerating business. He worked retail at a national sporting goods store. At the sporting goods store he not only improved his customer service skills but begin establishing his dexterity as a bicycle technician. Severable hobbies were also established while working at the sporting goods store, such as cycling, tennis, and board sports.

In 2017 Dr. Lucero purchased an outdated general dentistry practice in the San Luis Valley of Colorado, and converted it into a 21st century Prosthodontics practice. He expanded his dental experience and enjoyed a slow paced life style in the San Luis Valley. When Dr. Lucero wasn't Long Boarding to work, he could be found fishing, relaxing in the hot springs, exploring the treasures of the San Luis Valley, or enjoying Colorado's best kept secret, Wolf Creek Ski Area.

As the lease on the location of the practice approached expiration, without reasonable opportunity to renew, Dr. Lucero maintained a strong will to continue private practice in a faster paced location closer to his Family.

Dr. Lucero Looks forward to contributing to the healthy growth of the City of Lafayette. He is excited to offer high quality advanced digital prosthodontic treatment to the growing population of Colorado's front range and eastern plains.
